Excursion 01

Sunday, 17 May 1998

Dear colleagues,

Time has arrived to re-start our already traditional Summer/Spring hiking trips.
As always, at the beginning of the session I doubt whether it is the right opportunity to start them and almost always an excuse builds up fighting against. Fortunately, this time I already took care of my garden and, now, I hope, a soft maintenance will be enough and, therefore, this potential excuse is gone. However, there is another excuse at hand: Sonia's BBQ. Although a strong one, can be easily overcome by choosing, as it is regulated for the initial trips, an easy and quick hiking trip. Therefore, I would propose traditional-beginning-of-the session-very-easy-hiking-trip that should allow to those among us wishing to and, of course, having been warned! attend Sonia's event. We beg for the Spanish tradition of starting always late, be kept!
Voila ma proposition pour la premiere balade de la session:

At about 2.30 pm. we should have finished hicking and be down by the lake, so that we could enjoy wheather, swim if possible, or leave almost in time for the BBQ.
In the web address "http://excursiones.salicio.net" you can find the map for this trip.

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.

I hope weather conditions will allow an enjoyable excursion!
Cheers!
Jose.
