Since sun continues shining and autumn is a beautiful session and the forest at the Jura is also very colorful at this session of the year, I propose a "classic": "Le grand cret d'eau". It isn't very hard, but for some unknown reason participants in the past editions of this excursion have largely complained. Here is my proposal for excursion 12 on Sunday, 16th of October:

| Access: | Menthieres in mountain/skiing center nearby Confort village. To reach this point one should take the road CD 991 from Bellegarde to Confort. One km before arriving in Confort take the first road (CD 16) to the right hand side till the mountain center. There are enough parking places for cars. The trip from CERN to "Comfort" may take 1h15m |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
